Circle C Cappachino is certainly one of our premier brood jennets. As you can see in her recent photos, she looks great at 13 years old and after many foals. She is a fancy correct jennet, and is drafty without loosing any of her refinement. She really stamps her foals as her dam, Sterling Silver of Circle C, did with her.
Quality is no accident. Cappachino is the result of a careful breeding program using breeding donkeys who consistently produce quality, even when bred to diverse bloodlines. When you bring home one of her foals you bring home that kind of consistency. That is valuable and is what you look for in a breeding animal. For example, one of her daughters sold for $12,500 through the Cooke’s Select Sale, and I have retained her 2006 daughter, Circle C Mocha, as a brood jennet for the Benson Ranch herd.
Your jack should be the single most important addition to your breeding program as he will influence all his foals. Her jacks are herd improvers!!
In 2008 Cappachino gave this outstanding bright sorrel jack foal we named “BR Sizzlin’ Crossfire”. He went on to be a Champion in the show ring, which came as no surprise!
In 2011 Cappachino gave this fancy daughter sire by BR Pepper Jack. We named her “BR Chimera”.
